I’m Ellie Davison-Archer, an artist and print designer based in Northumberland illustrating and creating hand screen printed homeware products inspired by the natural world. For as long as I can remember, I have always been lead by my curious nature to collect objects of natural form, discarded curiosities and vintage oddities through foraging and beach combing - I have many fond childhood memories coming back from long walks along the coast with pockets full of shells and driftwood.
After studying Fine Art at Norwich University of the Arts, I moved back to Northumberland and was immediately drawn to the coastline and countryside surrounding me as inspiration for developing initial sketches and designs. I knew I wanted to progress my designs into products so combining my love of drawing, printing and interiors seemed like the perfect place to begin designing and making homeware products. You can now find me printing away in my studio at The Old Bath House, screen printing lengths of fabric to be made into soft furnishings and accessories for the home.
